Structure

Players who are invited to play on a Meta Hoops 3 Stripe Elite Teams will be committing to on average 1 tournament per month with their MH3SE team.  The goal of these once per month tournaments is to travel to locations where the best regional teams play so these players can compete with other high level players at their age level.  This will give these individuals a clear picture of the level of play regionally and nationally at their age level.  These teams will also play local tournament, however, they will typically be playing up an age level.  Each MH3SE coach will be working with their team to create the best experience for each unique team.

Tryouts

Tryouts for a Meta Hoops 3 Stripe Elite Team will be different than any club tryout you have ever attended.  We will be evaluating each athlete in 3 areas.
Basketball Skills and Identity
Athleticism and Movement
Leadership and Teamwork
The goal of our tryouts is to not just find the 8-10 best players, but the 8-10 players who we think will come together and develop into the best team.  Athletes should understand past success does not guarantee a place on a MH3SE team as we are looking at the person and family in addition to the player.  These tryouts will be over two days and will be intensive.

Adidas and Beyond

Meta Hoops is the only club program in the State who is sponsored by Adidas.  Our High School teams are competing and having success on the National level with multiple athletes receiving college scholarships.  With the addition of our MH3SE Youth program we are creating opportunities similar to our High School programs where athletes are able to develop and grow at multiple levels appropriate to their goals and development thus far.  Our MH3SE athletes will be in a great position to step directly into our Adidas sponsored High School teams and program.
